Moving to Middle Tennessee?

July 6, 2022

Middle Tennessee is notorious for its rolling hills of greenery. The jaw-dropping scenery stretches for miles and miles. With the people as welcoming and inviting as the landscapes, there’s no place quite like the volunteer state.

In Nashville, the state’s capital, better known as Music City, you could see a different artist perform every night at several state-of-the-art venues. From Luke Combs to Luke Bryant, many beloved country-music stars have settled down in Music City and often populate the downtown areas. Some of the stars even have delightful restaurants found on Broadway that are lively and alluring spots for dinner or drinks. The BBQ that is served there is often as good as the live entertainment.

But it’s not all fun and games here in Middle Tennessee. Located right in the heart of the state is the esteemed Middle Tennessee State University, where thousands of students earn a bachelor's degree each year. Majors at the university range from finance to liberal arts and everything in between. Getting an education has never been so alluring.

Hop on the I-40 interstate to travel towards the east and you’ll eventually end up on the Cumberland Plateau - a gorgeous, quaint town with the Cumberland Mountain State Park serving as a main attraction. Lace your hiking boots, borrow a kayak, or rent a cabin in the peaceful park to unplug and unwind in the comfort of those green mountains. There’s a good chance you won’t want to leave this slice of paradise.

Whether you’re interested in country music, famously delicious BBQ, or admiring the Tennessee River while being immersed in nature, there’s a place for you here in the volunteer state.
