Give With Ole South

We would like to invite you to join Ole South Homes in giving back this year. At Ole South we are thankful, but we also like the other half of the word for the holiday – giving – and that’s exactly what we are doing with our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Tennessee.

 For every home we sell in the months of December and January, we will donate 400 meals to Second Harvest. Can you imagine if we are able to sell 50 homes in one month?! That would equal a total of 20,000 meals donated! And we aren’t stopping there either – expanding on our partnership with Second Harvest, we are also going to announce every Friday on our Facebook page an Ole South model home that will be a collection point for canned food donations to be given to Second Harvest! And as if that wasn’t enough giving, we’d like to give back – to you! For every item you donate, we will enter you to with a $1,000.00 New Year Shopping Spree!!! So obviously, the more you donate – the more chances you have to win! We just love this time of year!

Members of Ole South’s Sales Team volunteered at Second Harvest Food Bank to help package over 8000 lbs of food items in September.

If you aren’t familiar with Second Harvest, let us give you a bit of background on this incredible organization. Second Harvest opened in 1978 with the mission of providing food to the hungry people of Middle Tennessee through companies, groups, and individuals. Second Harvest is one of the largest food banks in the country with them distributing more than 29 millions pounds of food and 24 million meals within a 46-county service area in 2014 / 2015 alone! With hunger impacting the lives of 1 out of 6 Americans, it is extremely important and necessary work Second Harvest dedicates their time to and it is so meaningful and important to us at Ole South to help in their mission.
