Everything You Need to Know about Middle Tennessee State University’s Homecoming Week

After a long and hot summer, autumn is finally upon us. Lazy days at the pool will soon be replaced by hay rides, trips to the apple orchard, and, of course, rowdy football games. Middle Tennessee State University alums and Blue Raiders fans have something to look forward to: MTSU’s fun-filled, Safari-themed homecoming weekend. 
From Monday, October 21st through Saturday, October 26th, students and alums can enjoy action-packed fun. From a haunted house to laser tag, and from a mac & cheese and chili cookoff to the campus’s National Pan-Hellenic Council’s step show, the events will help you and your old friends make new memories.
The MTSU Homecoming Parade, taking place at 10:00am on October 26th, is sure to be a fun experience for the whole family. Stake your lawn chair or picnic blanket on East Main Street in Nashville, and watch the band play, dancers perform, and much more.
The homecoming festivities all build up to the main event: MTSU’s football team’s face-off with the Florida International University Panthers at 3:30pm on the 26th. The Blue Raiders have suffered a lackluster football record this season, with one win and three losses, but they’re poised to make a comeback for this game. Come and cheer them on!
