At closing, you will receive a list of vendors that installed certain systems in your new home. If you have an issue that is related to plumbing, electrical, or HVAC, please contact that service provider directly.
For all other situations,
please visit the "Homeowner Resources" section of this website and fill out a service request. The proper personnel will be notified and contact you to resolve the issue or answer any questions you may have.
Warranty Summary
Year One - All of the appliances, systems, and components that are installed in your home are completely warranted for defects in workmanship for a period of one year from your closing date. Normal wear and tear, abuse, or neglect does not constitue a warrantable situation.
Year Two - All of the supply systems in your home are warranted against defects in workmanship. Systems include plumbing supply lines, electrical wiring, and HVAC duct work.
Years Two-Ten - HVAC SYSTEMS - Should you experience an issue with your HVAC system after the first year, please contact the service provider on your thermostat control unit. You will be responsible for payment of the service call, but certain operational components of your system are covered for TEN YEARS! The HVAC service provider will answer any questions you may have.
Ten Year Structural Warranty - Your home carries a 10 year limited structural warranty through the 2/10 Corporation, a nationwide issuer of home warranties. This warranty stays with the home for the ten year period, and does not need to be transferred if your home is sold. After the first year of your warranty, you may elect to purchase additional coverage with 2/10.
